wonderfully rainy day Chicago Cultural Center elopement

I just wanted to start by saying this: if you’re doing a tiny wedding or elopement, PLEASE invite me to your home to do photos beforehand!

Matt and Anna invited me to their first home together, and it was so sweet because they love their sweet little Roscoe Village apartment, but they’re moving to Michigan in August. So we were able to get some beautiful photos of them, in their back yard, on their front stoop, on the couch where they snuggle and watch TV. These will be cherished memories of their first home, for them and any future children.

Then we head over the Chicago Cultural Center to meet their families! The ceremony at the Chicago Cultural Center is just like a city hall wedding, but set in the beautiful and historic GAR Hall.

NOTE: if you’re interested in knowing how you can also get married at the Chicago Cultural Center for only $10, read my article on CHI thee WED HERE.

Before Matt and Anna joined their families for a dinner celebration in the West Loop, we strolled in the rain to the South Garden at the Art Institute. Of course, the heaven’s opened a total downpour when we started, but it just added to the charm of the day!

Congratulations, Matt and Anna!
