tiny wedding at the Chicago Cultural Center + Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba!
I love the city of Chicago. It's one of my favorite reasons I get so excited to do weddings at the Chicago Cultural Center, because I get to walk around the heart of the City and capture the couple. When I found out Catherine and Ivan were both architects, I was thrilled to work with a couple who I knew would appreciate the wonderful architecture the city of Chicago has to offer.
Catherine and Ivan selected a beautifully historic hotel, the Chicago Athletic Association, just across the street from world famous Millennium Park. It was a dangerously hot day, so we spent some time at their hotel before venturing across the street for a just a few photos, including the Lurie Garden skyline and the Bean.
We met with family and a few friends at the Chicago Cultural Center for their ceremony…
…and afterward flew off to for a luncheon with an extended group of friends at Cafe Ba-Ba-Reeba! in Lincoln Park.
Despite the heat, Catherine and Ivan were full of joy all day long, and it was one of our favorite weddings!
