Bridie Travel luxury destination wedding travel agent and planner brand session with Lisa Kathan

What Luxury Brand Photography Looks Like for a Destination Wedding Travel Planner

When Megan of Bridie Travel — a destination wedding travel planner — came to me for her brand photography session, I knew pretty quickly that this was going to be one of those sessions where you just feel it: the warmth, the intention, the love she has for what she does.

Megan helps couples plan luxury destination weddings. And everything about her — her energy, her attention to detail, the way she talks about her clients — reflects exactly the kind of experience she creates for them. Thoughtful. Heartfelt. A little romantic.

Of course, there were margaritas involved…and we’ll get to that.

But well before I even picked up a camera, I mapped out the vision for Megan’s session.

Who Is Bridie Travel?

Bridie Travel is a bespoke destination wedding travel planning service for couples who want their wedding journey to feel just as special as the wedding itself.

We’re not talking cookie-cutter packages or group tours. Megan curates every detail of the travel experience for couples and their guests — the kind of service where you feel completely taken care of from the moment you say yes all the way to the honeymoon flight home.

Her clients are couples who dream big, value experience over the ordinary, and trust Megan to make it all come together seamlessly. And if you’ve spent five minutes in her presence (or looking at her brand), you just know — she’s the one you want in your corner.

What We Captured

One of the things I love most about photographing service-based businesses like Bridie Travel is the opportunity to go beyond the headshot. Yes, we absolutely got gorgeous, polished portraits of Megan, but we also got so much more.

Working at her desk: Megan in her element, focused, in flow. These photos show her as the professional she is. We also captured her working alongside one of her agents. It tells the story that Bridie Travel isn’t just one person — it’s a team, and you’re in capable, caring hands at every step of the way.

Flat lays with travel props: Passports, maps, itineraries, those beautiful little travel details that signal “this is a world of adventure and elegance.” Flat lays are underrated in brand photography, and for a travel brand like Bridie Travel, they’re pure gold for website headers, social content, client guides, and email graphics.

Packing and heading off on a trip: Megan herself travels the many destinations and experiences that she recommends. That authenticity matters enormously to her clients, and it needed to be visible in her brand.

Elegant and fun headshots: Think luxe, polished, utterly beautiful. The kind of photos that sit perfectly on a high-end website and immediately communicate: this is a premium experience. We also captured a few more casual, fun headshots that show Megan’s warm personality.

The in-between moments. Some of my favorite images from a brand shoot are the ones that happen naturally. Coffee in hand, lost in a good travel magazine, laughing at nothing in particular. They’re relaxed, they’re real, and they make a brand feel human. They remind potential clients that behind the curated itineraries and the luxury service, there’s a person they’re genuinely going to enjoy working with.

The margaritas and the champagne. We intentionally built in a segment where Megan made margaritas — because if you’ve ever had a conversation with her, you know that this is her signature move, her love language, her vibe. The celebration was joyful, it was real, and it was one of the most personality-rich parts of the entire session.

Why Brand Photography Matters for Destination Wedding Travel Planners

Here’s the thing about luxury service businesses like Bridie Travel: couples choosing a destination wedding travel planner are making a deeply personal, highly emotional decision.

They’re not just looking for a service, they’re looking for someone they trust with one of the biggest moments of their lives.

Your brand photography is often doing the first introduction. Before your dream client ever fills out your contact form, they’ve already formed an impression of you from what they’ve seen online. They’re deciding if they can trust you from the moment they land on your website and social media.

In a space where your clients are probably choosing between several travel planners who all say they offer bespoke, luxury service…your brand visuals are what tips the scales.

Megan’s photos don’t just look beautiful. They tell a story:

  • She’s a professional who knows her craft.
  • She’s warm and approachable…someone you’d want in your corner.
  • She loves travel herself! She’s been there, she gets it.
  • She has personality, fun…she has things in common with her dream clients.
  • She runs a real business with a real team.

All of that, without a single word of website copy.

What Destination Wedding Planners & Travel Pros Need in Their Brand Photos

If you’re a travel planner, destination wedding specialist, or luxury travel advisor thinking about your own brand photography, here’s what I’d encourage you to think about:

Show the process, not just the outcome. Your dream clients can’t see the destination wedding you just planned, which is why showing photos of your clients isn’t always helpful. But your future clients can see you building, researching, and collaborating on your process. Those working shots are powerful.

Let your personality breathe. Megan’s margarita segment wasn’t a random prop, it was 100% her. What’s your equivalent? The coffee ritual, the travel journal, the specific way you lay out an itinerary?

Don’t skip the details. Flat lays, textures, beautiful travel objects…these are the supporting cast that make your gallery feel rich and editorial. They also give you incredible flexibility for content across your website and social platforms.

Invest in a range of moods. We shot everything from relaxed and candid to elevated and polished. That range means Megan has options. She’s not locked into one tone on her website or in her marketing.

Ready to Tell Your Brand Story?

If you’re a travel planner, destination wedding professional, or creative service provider who’s been putting off brand photography, I want you to know one thing: the investment is worth it.

What Megan walked away with wasn’t just a gallery of pretty photos.

It was a complete visual language for her business, and more confidence in the brand she’s spent years building.

That’s more than something she can use across her website, social media, marketing, and pitch decks. Confidence is the real deliverable…the photos just make it visible.

I’d love to chat about what that could look like for your business.
