You're not trying to be cheap, but let's be honest...when you choose a tiny wedding, you'll have more options for spending your personal resources on the experiences important to you.
With fewer "moving parts," you'll be able to recall more memories of your day in your heart, and with beautiful photos!
You want fewer distractions and more opportunities to cherish the moments of your day with those closest to you.

We eloped and took photos along the Chicago Riverwalk. As our officiant was pronouncing us married, an architectural tour boat was cruising by. We were cheered and if that isn’t the most heartfelt, Chicago thing ever, I don't know what is! ."

From the moment we started our long-distance wedding planning journey (from Australia!), Lisa really went above and beyond to ease our worries and ensure that everything ran smoothly. Her experience and local knowledge were so helpful. She turned our dreams into reality, and we will treasure our photos forever!

It felt like we were talking to a friend. She is a fantastic photographer and we are very happy we chose her for our elopement wedding (we eloped in Chicago all the way from the UK!). She made us feel so confident during the wedding photos, we didn’t even feel nervous. It was amazing. We would totally recommend Lisa for your wedding day and…eloping! Best thing we ever did.”
“From the moment we contacted Lisa, we felt at ease and incredibly comfortable.

I’m the only Chicago area photographer who’s dedicated to offering a boutique experience for couples just like you. Our couples are relaxed but need help amid a wedding industry that’s hyper-focused on helping couples that are planning much larger weddings.
As a photographer, I’ve worked hard to hold space in Chicago’s wedding industry for couples planning tiny weddings & elopements. I’m now considered an expert in this growing corner of weddings, and they’re the only weddings I photograph!
Generally speaking, a tiny wedding is under 25 guests, with main focus being the ceremony and photography. It centers on the couple, and their most intimate family and friends. Often there's a dinner or celebration, but never a full reception.
Frequently the terms tiny wedding and elopement are used interchangeably, but an elopement is only the couple, with perhaps 2-3 guests.
Many in the wedding industry have started using "tiny wedding" for the smallest of marriage celebrations, since historically the word "elopement" meant escaping in secret to be married.
I mean, it's a reasonable question!
