As a photographer and wedding planner, we came across so many couples who wanted to travel to Chicago from all around the world to be married, but struggled to find a place to hold their ceremony. So SIMPLY WED was born!

We serve couples who not only need help with finding a location for their tiny wedding, but also photography, a ceremony officiant, and other things like where to stay, how to get their marriage license and other important details.

Lisa is a boutique photographer who specializes in capturing tiny weddings & elopements. She is also a regular contributor to Chicago’s largest wedding blog, CHI thee WED.

Kari is a wedding planner and ceremony officiant, and she loves to help couples find the perfect place to be married. Before weddings, she owned a curated tour guide business. One of her favorite things is to show off our amazing city to couples who want to be married in Chicago.

I’m the only Chicago area photographer who’s dedicated to offering a boutique experience for couples just like you. Our couples are relaxed but need help amid a wedding industry that’s hyper-focused on helping couples that are planning much larger weddings.

As a photographer, I’ve worked hard to hold space in Chicago’s wedding industry for couples planning tiny weddings & elopements. I’m now considered an expert in this growing corner of weddings, and they’re the only weddings I photograph!
