Stay visible this summer

Stay Visible This Summer (Even If You’d Rather Be at the Beach)

If you’re a coach or creative, figuring out how to stay visible this summer can feel tricky. Your audience is in vacation mode, Instagram goes quiet…and honestly, you’d rather be at the beach yourself.

But showing up for your business now doesn’t have to mean constant hustle. With a few simple, strategic moves, you can stay visible this summer, connect with your audience, and set yourself up for a strong, confident fall season. With a little intention, you can keep your business top of mind — even when you’re poolside.

Here are 5 realistic ways to stay visible this summer — even when you’d rather be at the beach.

1. Refresh Your Profile Photo (The Easy Win)

First impressions count. A fresh headshot or on-brand photo can quietly work for you on your website, Instagram, LinkedIn, and beyond. It signals you’re active, professional, and invested — without you having to say a word.

Pro tip: Summer is the perfect time to update your profile image so you’re ready when fall inquiries start rolling in.

2. Stay Visible by Batching Evergreen Social Posts

Summer doesn’t have to mean daily posting marathons. Instead, block off one hour to batch a handful of evergreen posts:

✅ Client testimonials
✅ Behind-the-scenes sneak peeks
✅ Value-packed tips
✅ Reminder of your offers

These posts can quietly do the heavy lifting while you’re enjoying that BBQ or weekend getaway.

Pro tip: Don’t forget to put your posts in a scheduler like Plann, so you get a simple notification to remind you to post, without having to think about it.

3. Update Your Website (Even Just a Little)

You don’t need a full website overhaul to make an impact. Simple updates can make your site feel polished and current:

✔ Swap in fresh photos
✔ Update your bio
✔ Make sure your offers are clear

Visitors are still browsing—make sure your site reflects your best self.

Pro tip: schedule one hour per week to make simple updates to your website and it will be so fresh when fall hits!

4. Re-Share Your Best Content

Chances are, you’ve already created content that’s still relevant. Give it new life!

Reshare a past Instagram post to your Stories (such an easy lift!), revive a blog that your newer audience may have missed, or turn old blogs into carousel posts.

Pro tip: Use ChatGPT to convert old content — like a blog post into an Instagram carousel. It can add hours to your Summer when you’re trying to repurpose your original content.

5. Schedule Your Fall Brand Session

Fall is one of the busiest seasons for small businesses. New offers launch, websites get refreshed, and everyone wants to elevate their marketing.

But here’s the secret: The businesses that look polished and prepared in the Fall didn’t wait until September to get started. Some of my smartest clients begin talking with me about their Fall brand session in July or August.

Booking your brand session now ensures:

✔ You have updated, intentional images ready for fall and early next year.
✔ You aren’t scrambling to find a photographer who has availalbity during their busiest season
✔ You can actually enjoy the busy season, knowing your visuals are handled

If a website refresh, new product, or bigger visibility push is on the horizon, now’s the time to start thinking about your brand photos. Your future self will thank you.

The Bottom Line

Summer doesn’t have to be all hustle — but staying visible now sets you up for a stronger, more confident season ahead.

A little preparation now means you can roll into Fall with updated photos and B-roll, and a business that looks as good as it feels.
