Michelle is a cancer survivor. She was diagnosed in her early 30's, and found that while there was a lot of support during her treatment, the period after her treatment was filled with complete unknowns of how to move forward in her life.
So she started Revival Health & Wellness, and began coaching other cancer survivors on everything she's learned about how to care for herself. The goal was to create a brand session that featured a life of celebration, health, and goodness.

Michelle wanted the photos to show where she is today: healthy, cancer- free, and living a life she rebuilt with purpose. She wanted her images to reflect the food, the routines, and the personality her audience already knew from her social media. A major objective was to illustrate proof of her own message, that there is a full and beautiful life waiting on the other side of treatment.
The people Michelle is trying to reach have just finished treatment, and have no idea where to go next. Michelle needed images that feel like an answer to that: warm, connected, and human enough so that someone stuck in survival mode can see a place to land.
Speaking engagements and launching her own podcast and YouTube channel were up next for Michelle's business She needed polished headshots she can hand to event organizers without having to think about it, plus detail images she could drop straight into her toolboxes, meal plans, and slide decks.
Michelle's audience follows functional medicine doctors, survivorship podcasts, and low tox brands. That told me the images needed to feel health forward without tipping into anything sterile or clinical.
Michelle and I searched for the perfect, modern, clean house with the big must have: a beautiful kitchen. After searching the Chicago area, I suggested that Michelle's house was probably the perfect location! Michelle was previously a designer, and her house was the exact aesthetic we needed for her shoot.
We built Michelle's session on 3 parts of her business and life:
Nutrition. Prepping and cooking cancer fighting food, the details of the ingredients, tea and smoothies in glass, the tools she reaches for constantly.
Lifestyle. Morning routine, journaling and affirmation cards, walking outside, movement, red light therapy. These are the daily habits are the foundation of her health and her life.
Coaching. Talking with clients, the welcome gifts she sends, the resources she builds. As cancer patients know, ringing the bell at the end of their treatment is a celebration of moving on into their life, post-cancer. Michelle's message is this is not the end something, but the beginning of a new life.
This is what strategic brand photo and video looks like when it's built to carry a business into its next phase: Michelle now has one visual home for everything Revival Health & Wellness is becoming.

Your marketing feels more reactive than intentional. Or maybe you’re showing up consistently, but it’s not translating into connection, or clients.
What you actually want isn’t more photos.
It’s a brand presence that feels like you… and makes your audience feel it too—so they trust you before you ever say a word.
